Privacy.
We run ads for a living, so we understand exactly how uncomfortable a vague privacy page is. Here is all of it, in order.

What we collect
Two things, and only two. First, whatever you type into the audit form on our contact page: your name, your work email, your brand or store URL, a spend range, and a sentence about what isn't working. Second, basic technical information your browser sends to our host on every visit — the page you asked for, your approximate region, your browser and device type, and the referring link.
If you arrive from a paid ad, our site stores the campaign parameters in that link — the ones beginning “utm_”, plus click identifiers such as “gclid” or “fbclid” — in your browser's local storage, and passes them along if you later click through to the contact page. That is how we tell which of our own ads worked. It lives in your browser, and clearing your site data removes it.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your information. Not to data brokers, not to partners, not in aggregate.
- We don't run advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and there is no cookie banner because there are no advertising cookies to consent to.
- We don't add you to a mailing list because you filled in the audit form. If we ever start a newsletter, you will have to ask for it.
Who else sees it
Our website host, which processes server logs on our behalf, and the email provider that carries your enquiry to us. Both are bound by their own contracts to process the data only for those purposes. If you become a client, your account data stays inside your own advertising platforms — we access them under your permissions and never copy your customer lists out.
How long we keep it
Audit enquiries are kept for twenty-four months so we recognise you if you come back, then deleted. Server logs roll off after ninety days. Client records are kept for seven years after the engagement ends, because tax authorities ask for them.
Your say in it
Email hello@poolsideads.com and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or a deletion. One of the two of us will answer within five business days — it will be a person, not a ticketing system. If you're in a jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights, this is how you exercise them, and we won't ask you to justify the request.
